When you hear the term ‘military vehicle’ nothing springs to mind faster than the ubiquitous Jeep of World War II.  Though ‘Jeep’ technically only applies to those 1/4 ton vehicles made by Ford, Willys, Bantam, AMC, Kaiser and AM General – the term is still used freely to describe the 1/4 and 1/2 ton utility vehicles used by the militaries of just about every other nation around the globe.
